Loreno Mirasole was born in Valetta, Malta. A Cigarette Maker by occupation, he attested for service with the King’s Own Malta Regiment of Militia on 19 October 1891. He served in the Militia until 10 December 1909. He was awarded the Militia L.S. & G.C., this notified in Army Order 29 of February 1910. One of 61 such medals from the reign of King Edward VII awarded to the 1st Battalion King’s Own Malta Regiment of Militia. Sold with copied attestation papers.
