Francis Lennon, of 856 Ellesmere Street, Glasgow, for rescuing a young boy from drowning in the Forth and Clyde Canal north of Baird’s Brae on April 15, 1955. Lennon was awarded the Glasgow Bravery Medal on 12 May 1956.
