The Most Honourable Order of The Bath, K.C.B. (Military) Knight Commander’s breast star by Hamlet, silver with gold and enamel appliqué centre, circa 1815, 78mm diameter, the reverse centre inscribed with maker’s name ‘HAMLET, JEWELLER to their Royal Highnefses the Princefses Augusta, Elizabeth, Mary & Sophia, Princes Street Leicester Square LONDON’, fitted with gold pin for wearing, enamel damage to wreath and ‘Ich Dien’ motto, therefore very fine and scarce £1600-1800

The four Princesses were all daughters of King George III.
