Egypt and Sudan 1882-89, 2 clasps, The Nile 1884-85, Abu Klea (5983 Pte. A. Periera, 2/Rif. Bde.) nearly extremely fine £700-800

1 officer and 27 other ranks of the 2nd Rifle Brigade served on the Nile in the Mounted Infantry Camel Regiment, of whom the officer and just 14 other ranks fought at Abu Klea.

Private A. Pereira died of enteric fever at Korti on 15 March 1885.
