Charles Walter Keatinge was born on 16 February 1857. He was appointed 4th Class Chaplain (Roman Catholic) on 27 January 1882; 3rd Class, 1 April 1893; 2nd Class, 1 April 1898; 1st Class, 1 April 1903; retired 14 October 1903. He also received the medal for the Boer War. Chaplain Keatinge died at Tonbridge Wells on 13 May 1906.
