Egypt and Sudan 1882-89, 1 clasp, The Nile 1884-85 (485 Pte. D. Grosvenor, 1/Rl. Sc. Fus.) suspension re-fixed, edge bruising and contact wear, therefore good fine £150-200

1 officer and 27 other ranks of the Royal Scots Fusiliers served in the Mounted Infantry Camel Regiment on the Nile, just 6 men receiving this single clasp, the remainder being present at Abu Klea.

David Grosvenor was born at Craley, Worcestershire, and was a groom before enlisting for the Royal Scots Fusiliers at Worcester on 4 July 1883. He was discharged on 3 July 1895. Sold with copy discharge papers.
