Egypt and Sudan 1882-89, 1 clasp, The Nile 1884-85 (1741 Pte. J. Walters, 3rd Husrs.) nearly extremely fine £150-200

2 officers and 42 other ranks of the 3rd Hussars served in the Light Camel Regiment on the Nile, all of whom received this single clasp except one man who was also present at Kirbekan.

James Walters was born at Barking, Essex, and enlisted for the 3rd Hussars at Colchester on 20 October 1880, a groom by trade. He was discharged medically unfit for further service on 11 February 1886. Sold with copy discharge papers.
