39 medals with clasp for Gemaizah issued to Starling, together with 22 clasps to earlier medals.

William Henry Prescott was born in the Parish of St Ann’s, Middlesex, on 17 March 1859. He joined as a Boy on 25 May 1875, and served aboard Starling from October 1886 to January 1890, ending his service as a Chief Cook on 31 March 1897 (ADM 188/99).
