Egypt and Sudan 1882-89, dated reverse, 1 clasp, Suakin 1885 (B. P. Creagh, Comdr. I.G.S. “Tenasserim”) very fine £250-300

In the 1882 operations Commander Boyle Purdon Creagh was in command of Tenasserim, which received 138 medals (16 officers and 122 native crew), one of two Indian Government Steamers present; the other was Amberwitch which received 82 medals. In the Suakin operations of 1885 Creagh was in command of Canning, a troopship of the Bombay Marine.
