Bernard Leslie Marley (on some lists given as ‘Bernard Lincoln’), entered the France/Flanders theatre of war as a Private in the 21st Battalion London Regiment. Later as a Serjeant in the 142nd Company M.G.C. he was mentioned in despatches and awarded the Military Medal - quite possibly for services at Bourlon Wood where the 142nd Company distinguished itself. Sold with copied research.
