2nd Lieutenant Edward Arthur Knipe, 2nd Battalion King’s Own Scottish Borderers, died of wounds on 26 September 1916, aged 35 years. He was buried in the Peronne Road Cemetery, Maricourt. He was the husband of Mrs W. M. Knipe, of Hillside Lodge, 11 Richmond Park Avenue, Bournemouth.
