Listed in the November 1918 Army List as a Major, Unattached List, with the Hertford Grammar School Officers Training Corps. A note with the lot states 3rd Volunteer Battalion Royal Welsh Fusiliers. Sold with a letter to Major Kinman from the War Office, 21 February 1912; and a letter to Kinman from Field Marshal Earl Roberts, V.C., K.G., 22 January 1913, in which he thanks him for dedicating the song The Territorial Forces to him; together with sheet music of the song.
