Private Henry Montague Hawkes, 24th Battalion London Regiment, served in the France/Flanders theatre of war, 11 November 1915-7 July 1917. Entering the Egyptian theatre of war on 16 November 1917, he was accidentally killed on 10 February 1918, aged 28 years. He was buried in the Jerusalem War Cemetery. Henry Montague was the son of Mr and Mrs Hawkes of Kennington, London. Sold with copied research.
