William Gosling was born in Sherbourn, Berkshire. A Labourer by occupation, he attested for the Royal Artillery at Woolwich on 24 July 1843, aged 19 years, 3 months. Discharged in consequence of having completed 21 years service, at Maidstone, Kent, on 25 April 1865. Sold with some service details.
