Memorial Plaque 1914-18 (2) (Frederick Penrose; Harold Thomas Springthorpe) good very fine (2) £60-80

Frederick Penrose was born in Truro, Cornwall, and living in St. Austell, enlisted at London. Serving as SS13916 Private in the 18th Labour Company, Army Service Corps, he died at sea on 13 August 1915. His name is commemorated on the Helles Memorial. He was the husband of Mary Penrose of Tregonissey, St. Austell, Cornwall.

Harold Thomas Springthorpe was born and lived in Stamford, Rutlandshire and enlisted at Lincoln. Serving as a 1803 Lance-Corporal with the Lincolnshire Yeomanry, he died at sea on 3 November 1915. His name is commemorated on the Helles Memorial.
