Harold Victor Young was born in 1929 and served with the Royal Fleet Auxiliary from April 1973 to December 1987. Sold with original Seaman’s Discharge Book which includes a photograph of recipient.

The Olmeda, a fast fleet replenishment ship, arrived in the South Atlantic on 1 May 1982 and was utilized in refuelling the ships of the task force, whilst her Sea King Mk.2 helicopters of 824 Squadron transferred stores. The ship returned to Plymouth on 12 July 1982.
