1204 Private Alexander Joseph Lyon, 6th Dragoons, died at Malta, 22 December 1854. Sold with copied roll extracts confirming clasps. The 6th Dragoons, together with the 1st and 2nd Dragoons and 4th and 5th Dragoon Guards, took part in the famous charge of the ‘Heavy Brigade’ at the battle of Balaklava, 25 October 1854.
