79th (Queen’s Own Cameron Highlanders) Regiment, a fine and scarce officer’s heavily die-stamped unmarked silver glengarry/bonnet badge, St. Andrew and his Cross with thistle sprays in three-quarter surround, original stout pin back; together with the corresponding other ranks die-stamped white metal issue; The Queen’s Own Cameron Highlanders, a good quality officer’s die-cast silver plated glengarry/bonnet badge format similar to the above but with a scroll, ‘Cameron’ on the bottom; a similar die-stamped silver plated example, this complete on the reverse with Anderson & Sons Edinburgh trade plaque; a scarce die-stamped large pattern osd bronze collar badge c1901-1908, very good overall condition (5) £120-150
