60th The King’s Royal Rifle Corps Officer’s Shako Plate 1835-55, a good die-stamped example, being a Bath style cross the arms emblazoned with the early battle honours in the centre a strung bugle horn with ‘60’ within the strings and title circle, “The King’s Royal Rifle Corps’, a floreated scroll over the top arm of the cross, “Peninsula’ and a similar one on the bottom arm, ‘Celer Et Audax’, the separate crown not present, the plate has been gilded and converted into a waist belt plate but well worth restoration, very good condition £200-300
