A Martini Henry breech loading rifle, the 82.5cm sighted barrel with ramp and ladder rear sight, the action stamped with crowned VR, Enfield 1884 and III over 1, full stock with two barrel bands, regulation steel mounts and steel cleaning rod, the stock marked with opposed broad arrows and VIC GOV within circle, complete with socket bayonet in its brass mounted leather scabbard, together with a copy of Temple & Skennerton, ‘A treatise on the British Military Martini’, good condition (3) £350-400
