Sold with confirmation that Private Wilkie was a member of No. 1 Independent Infantry Company and that he may have gone to Burma before the campaign started. It was intended for harassing and guerilla tactics behind the enemy lines in Malaya, but the circumstances of the campaign were such that it was never used in this role.
