Francis Clement Carter lived in Lewisham and enlisted at Blackheath. Serving with the 20th Battalion London Regiment, he was killed in action at Vimy Ridge on 21 May 1916, aged 21 years. His name was commemorated on the Arras Memorial. His officer wrote of his death, ‘He was killed instantaneously whilst dressing the wounds of an officer, by a shell. It has come as a great blow to us all, as he was so very popular with us all ...’ With copied newspaper report.

Private Henry Gainty, 20th Battalion London Regiment, enlisted on 13 May 1915 and was discharged on 1 July 1919 due to wounds. Awarded the Silver War Badge.

Private Reginald Stephen Huggins, 20th London Regiment. Awarded the Silver War Badge. Small M.I.D. emblem on ribbon - not confirmed.

Sergeant George McDonald, 20th Battalion London Regiment, died of wounds whilst serving with the Egypt Expeditionary Force on 19 November 1917. His name was commemorated on the Kantara War Memorial Cemetery, Egypt.

Private Albert Charles Frederick Seymour, 20th Battalion London Regiment, enlisted on 11 December 1915 and was discharged on 7 August 1917 due to sickness. Awarded the Silver War Badge. Medal in card box of issue. With copied research.
