Henry William Pincott, who was born in Stepney, Middlesex, was killed in action in France on 1 April 1918, while serving in the 11th Battalion, Rifle Brigade. Aged 28 years, and the husband of Jemima, who was resident at Durban Road, West Ham, he has no known grave and is commemorated on the Pozieres Memorial on the Somme.
