Walter Nuttall, who was born in Hollinwood, Lancashire, died in Italy on Christmas Day 1917, while serving in the 24th (Oldham Pals) Battalion, Manchester Regiment. He was 35 years of age and is buried in the Altivole Communal Cemetery, near Treviso, Italy.
