Queen’s South Africa 1899-1902, 2 clasps, Cape Colony, Orange Free State (32868 Tpr. H. Benson, 21st Coy. Imp. Yeo.), some heavy edge bruises and heavily polished, thus fine £50-70

Henry Benson was born in Chester and enlisted in the Imperial Yeomanry in March 1901. Posted to the 2nd Battalion of the 21st (Cheshire) Company, I.Y., he served in South Africa until May 1902, thereby gaining further entitlement to the “South Africa 1901” and “South Africa 1902” clasps. Benson was discharged back in the U.K. in September 1902.
