Jean Loubière, a French national, served in the Great War as an Interpreter on the Western Front, attached to the 30th Casualty Clearing Station of the British Army. His M.S.M. was notified in List No. 49, ‘British Decorations awarded to the Allied Powers’, dated War Office, 1 December 1919. These ‘honorary’ awards were usually issued unnamed.
