Albert Edward Lee was born at Gosport, Hampshire, on 23 May 1900, and was a munitions worker before joining the Royal Navy as a Boy 2nd Class on 14 March 1917. He passed as a Telegraphist in September 1918 but transferred as 3rd Writer in September 1919. He received his L.S. & G.C. medal on 18 July 1933, and a Bar to that medal on 11 January 1954. Sold with copy record of service.
