Lloyd’s War Medal for Bravery at Sea
Lloyd’s List and Shipping Gazette 5 September 1944. ‘Captain Wilfred Geoffrey Perrin, Master, Dover Hill’. ‘For dangerous work in hazardous circumstance’.

The S.S. Dover Hill, was a cargo vessel of 5,815 tons. She was bombed by enemy aircraft and damaged whilst in the Kola Inlet on 4 April 1943. For their services in this action, two O.B.E’s. and three M.B.E’s. were awarded to the ship’s officers and 14 other officers and ratings received the King’s Commendation.
