‘On the 26th April 1899, a lad named Martin fell into the sea at Hove, Sussex, and was carried out about 60 yards by the current. Steel swam out and, at great risk, brought the lad to shore, swimming with him in his teeth’ (Ref. R.H.S. Case No. 29,964). Sold with copied research.
