Walter Budden served as an Instructor with the Sappers & Miners in India during the 1930’s, and by the 1940’s was a Sergeant-Major Instructor. He was commissioned a Lieutenant (Quartermaster) in the Sappers & Miners in September 1940. Ranked as a Temporary Captain (Quartermaster) in November 1942, he was appointed war substantive Captain (Quartermaster) in September 1943 and retired in 1947. Sold with some copied service details.
