Kate Mabel Nicks was born in Brighton, Sussex in April 1893, and later settled in Rhodesia with her husband James Morton; sold with her original U.K. passport, issued by the British Embassy, Pretoria in March 1974, together with an R.A.F. gilt tie-pin.
