Private Joseph Gunn, Royal Irish Fusiliers, entered the France/Flanders theatre of war on 22 August 1914. His copied m.i.c. records him being a prisoner-of-war, entitled to clasp to the 1914 Star and entitled to the General Service Medal with clasps for Iraq and N.W. Persia.

Private William McCarthy, 1st Battalion Royal Welsh Fusiliers, entered the France/Flanders theatre of war on 6 October 1914. His copied m.i.c. records him being a prisoner-of-war and entitled to the clasp to the 1914 Star.
