Military General Service 1793-1814, 5 clasps, Talavera, Albuhera, Pyrenees, Nivelle, Nive (W. Bailey, 3rd Foot) suspension a little slack and clasps slightly distorted, otherwise very fine £1500-1700

William Bailey, a button maker from Birmingham, enlisted into the 46th Foot in August 1798, for unlimited service, and transferred to the 3rd Foot in 1803. He was discharged in May 1815 in consequence of a ‘gun shot wound of the right thigh at Bayonne, 13th December 1813’.
