George Langston was born on 4 April 1921. A Coach Trimmer by occupation, he was called up for military service on 13 March 1941. Latterly serving with 31 Mechanized Equipment Platoon R.E., he was discharged in 1946.

Sold with Soldier’s Release Book; Soldier’s Service and Pay Book; Record of Service Card; handwritten testimonial; field service postcard; telegrams (2) re. his return from France to Lichfield Hospital, Birmingham, 20 July? 1944; and another re his transfer to Warwick Hospital, 26 November 1944; a photograph and two embroidered lady’s handkerchiefs.
