Lance-Serjeant A. J. Woodford, King’s Royal Rifle Corps, was captured whilst serving in Italy. He was held at Stalag VIIA at Moosburg, having the P.O.W. Number ‘142004’.
W.W.2 medals in card box with modern forwarding slip; Efficiency Medal in card box of issue with forwarding slip dated 25 May 1978. Sold with Identity Disk, ‘C.E. Woodford 6898589’, P.O.W. Identity Disk, ‘Stalag VII/A Nr.142004’, and K.R.R.C. cap badge. With copied photograph, copied fragmentary letter to his wife at 25 Salmon Street, Kingsbury, London, N.W.9, dated November 1944, and other copied research.
