Thomas Theobald was born in Peckham, Surrey and lived and enlisted at Southend-on-Sea. Serving with the 9th Battalion Rifle Brigade, he was killed in action on 27 February 1917. He was buried in the Faubourg d’Amiens Cemetery in Arras, France. Sold with copy of m.i.c. which shows additional entitlement to 1914-15 Star.
