Petty Officer Martin Burns, R.N.R., died on 26 October 1918 whilst serving at H.M.S. Pembroke (Chatham). He was buried in the East London Cemetery, Plaistow. He was the husband of Margaret Eliza Burns of 10 Athol Street, Poplar. Sold with medal forwarding slip addressed to Mrs Burns.
