Serjeant Harry Wolfe, Suffolk Regiment, the elder brother of Charles H. Wolfe, was discharged as time expired on 1 April 1917.

Serjeant Charles H. Wolfe, Suffolk Regiment, entered the France/Flanders theatre of war on 8 November 1914. He was wounded in action on 19 June 1916, receiving shell wounds to the left knee and wrist. Returning to duty, he was posted missing on 23 April 1917, being made a prisoner-of-war. Held at Langensalza, he was repatriated to England on 5 December 1918.

Sold with two silver match cases; glazed gilt locket with photographs and several postcard photographs; copied service records and m.i.c. for both recipients.
