Royal Household Faithful Service Medal, G.VI.R., suspension dated ‘1920-1940’, with Bars for ‘Thirty Years’ and ‘Forty Years’ (Gamble, Eric), nearly extremely fine and rare £450-500

Eric Gamble, who was employed on the Sandringham Estate, was also awarded the Jubilee 1935 Medal while working in the Game Department, the Coronation 1937 Medal while working in the Carpenter’s Yard, and the Coronation 1953 Medal as a Stoker. Both of his Long Service Bars are confirmed on the roll, having been awarded in January 1950 and January 1960 respectively.
