Able Seaman Cyril Norman Hicklin, Drake Battalion, R.N. Division, R.N.V.R., died on 21 August 1918. His name is recorded on the Vis-en-Artois Memorial.

William George Robbins was born in Porth, Glamorgan, and living at Pontyclun, Glamorgan, enlisted at Cardiff. Serving with the 2nd Battalion Welsh Regiment, he was killed in action on 20 September 1914, aged 29 years. Having no known grave, his name is commemorated on the La Ferte-sous-Jouarre Memorial. He was the son of William and Esther Robbins of 1 Coronation Street, Pontymister, Risca, Newport, Monmouthshire.
