Joeseph Reynolds was born in Staffordshire. A Collier by occupation and a member of the 1st Staffordshire Militia, he attested for full-time military service on 11 March 1881, aged 21 years. Serving with the 2nd Battalion South Staffordshire Regiment, he served in Malta, September 1883-February 1884, and Egypt, February 1884-July 1885. He was discharged as medically unfit on 6 October 1885. Sold with copied service papers.
