Thomas Day was born in the Parish of Betterton, near Wantage, Berkshire. A Labourer by occupation, he enlisted into the Grenadier Guards at Windsor on 12 November 1847, aged 20 years, 11 months. Serving in the Crimea with the 3rd battalion Grenadier Guards, he died on 7 December 1854. Sold with copied service papers and roll extracts
