Netherlands East Indies, VOC, silver Ingot, 18th century, three stamps, assayed at Middelburg, mintmaster Gerrit van Driel, 135 x 40 x 32cm, 1.955 kg (63 troy oz). Surface cast marks and some discolouration, the stamps better than fine (£1,000-1,200)

Christie’s Auction (Amsterdam), 6 December 1986, recovered from the wreck of the Bredenhof.
