Fair to fine, very rare (£1,000-1,500)

For this and the following lot see ‘Gibraltar Hearts’, by Bob Lyall, SNC December 2007 and February 2008, which identifies Gibraltar as the colony of origin for the type I and II heart shaped piercings, but considers the type IV to have originated in Dominica
