Curaçao, Eighteen Stivers (c. 1801, Dutch administration), a cut quarter segment of a Spanish-American, Charles III or IIII, 8 Réales, 17[––], cut edges crenated, rev. countermarked with rosace of five petals, in relief, within a circular indent, 6.40g (Prid. p.251, fig. 25 [Sale, lot 421]; Scholten 1368; KM. 7). Coin very fine, countermark better, very rare (£1,200-1,500)
