Charles I (1625-1649), Briot’s Hammered issue, Halfcrown, muled with Tower rev., mm. triangle (over anchor to right on obv.), Briot’s lozenge stops on obv., rev. oval garnished shield, 15.06g/4h (SCBI Brooker 734, same dies; N 2307; S 2861). About very fine, reverse better, toned, very rare (£1,500-2,000)
