Charles I (1625-1649), Tower mint, Crown, type 2b2, mm. harp (over rose over plume on obv.), plume over shield, 29.43g/4h (FRC dies X*/XVII [Sale, lot 68]; SCBI Brooker 249, same dies; N 2194; S 2757). Slight edge split and small flan flaw on obverse, otherwise fine, reverse better, rare (£600-800)
