Shrewsbury mint, Halfcrown, mm. lis, horse’s tail behind legs, prominent mane, reversed g in d g and appears to read hir, rev. crowned oval shield, christo, etc, 14.67g/12h (Allen –; SCBI Brooker –; cf. N 2603; cf. S 3124). A contemporary forgery of competent style and good weight but the reverse somewhat crude; unusual and very rare (£300-400)
