Bristol mint, Shilling, 1643, mm. Oxford plume on obv. only, from an Oxford obv. die, rev. Declaration, three large plumes above, date below, 6.25g/8h (SCBI Brooker 991, same dies; Morr. A-1; N 2493; S 3011). Flan a little ragged and legends weak in places, otherwise very fine (£600-800)
