Oxford mint, Sixpence, 1644, mm. book on obv. only, rev. from the die of the Groat, Declaration, Shrewsbury plume between two lis above, date and ox below, 2.33g/7h (SCBI Brooker –, but same obv. die as 951-2; Morr. A-1; N 2460; S 2982). Striking split and chipped between 7 and 8 o’clock, a few scratches, otherwise fine to very fine, extremely rare (£800-1,000)
